If a request for a key (mechanical, electronical, with or without remote control) is necessary for a Customer, in the event of loss of the key/keys or if an additional key is required, the dealers can order them following the specific CSPS procedures below:
In order to protect the Customer’s safety and that of the group’s cars, dealers must establish the customer’s identity and ownership of the car, requesting the following: 1. an identification document proving ownership of the car (registration document or ownership certificate) 2. a valid identity document belonging to the Customer 3. the CODE card (if provided for the model in point 1) A copy of such documents must be filed progressively (with yearly numbering) and be kept available to FGA for 5 years from the date of the order. Only if the Customer’s identity as the owner of the car is established, the dealer can order the replacement or additional key (mechanical, electronic or with remote control). |
