The door locking/unlocking function is managed by the Body Computer. Body Computer M001 receives the following inputs:
The signalling/deterrence LED on the button of control panel H090 (pin 12) is activated by a positive signal from pin 23 of connector H of the Body Computer M001; pin 4 of H090 is connected to the central dashboard earth C022 (connector A). According to the control logic illustrated, the Body Computer M001 (through fuse F38 and the built in relay switches) controls the geared motors for the locks of the driver's side N050 and passenger side N051 front doors and the left N055 and right N056 rear doors, in particular:
When the doors are opened, pins 4 of the front doors N050 and N051 and rear doors N055 and N056 geared motors send a negative signal to switch on the front roof light. The Body Computer M001 also receives the signal relating to the activation of the inertia switch I050 (negative signal) at pin 25 of connector D. The Body Computer sends the instrument panel E050 all the information useful for the management of the "doors open" and "general failure" warning lights (if the inertia switch activates) and the buzzer in the instrument panel via the B-CAN through pins 11 and 26 of connector H. |
