The conversion socket P125 comprises three connectors which receive/send the signals useful for the management of any additional systems.

In the detail, connector A:

  • at pin 2 receives the D+ alternator charge negative signal via the connection with pin 4 of connector H of the Body Computer M001;

  • at pin 3 receives the vehicle speed speedometer signal (VSO), supplied by the braking system control unit M051 via the connection with pin 49 of connector F of the Body Computer M001;

  • from pins 9 and 10 communicates via the B-CAN line with the other network nodes;

  • at pin 11 receives the negative side markers on signal via the connection with pin 3 of connector H of the Body Computer M001;

This signal is not available on versions with an extra long wheelbase because they have side markers fitted as standard.

  • at pin 12 receives the compressor engagement request;

  • at pin 14 receives the additional rear heater on signal;

  • receives an ignition-operated supply (INT) at pin 13, through the line protected by fuse F49 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 6 of connector E).

On this version, pins 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of connector A are not connected because the vehicle has the functions and connections for the original electrical equipment.

Connector B, on the other hand:

  • at pin 1 is prepared for a power supply for the radio (+30) from the auxiliary battery;

  • at pins 2 - 3 and 4 - 5 receives signals respectively for the left rear and right rear speakers via the connections with the radio P020 (B7 - B8 and B1 - B2 of connector A).

Connector C for the conversion socket P125 receives a direct battery power supply at pin A protected by maxifuse F73 (TRASF) of the maxifuse box on the battery B099 (connector E), whilst at pin B it receives a power earth via the connection with the right front seat access board earth C098.
