1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the water supply actuator control solenoid valve to the EGR heat exchanger.

2. Disconnect the vacuum pipe for EGR heat exchanger water supply actuator control.

1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe for wastegate solenoid valve control.

1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the vacuum reservoir.

2. Undo the screw (2a) fixing the oil dipstick tube (2b) to the vacuum reservoir.

3. Undo the screws (3a) and remove the EGR system exhaust gas/water heat exchanger (3b) complete with radiant pack and gaskets.

Refitting ( Removing

)

1. Place the exhaust gas/water heat exchanger (1a) for the EGR system, complete with radiant pack and new gaskets, back in its housing and tighten the fixing screws (1b) to the prescribed torque.

2. Tighten the screw (2a) fixing the oil dipstick tube (2b) to the vacuum reservoir.

3. Connect the vacuum pipe to the vacuum reservoir.

- Connect the vacuum pipe for wastegate solenoid valve control.

- Connect the vacuum pipe for EGR heat exchanger water supply actuator control.

- Connect the electrical connection for the water supply actuator control solenoid valve to the EGR heat exchanger.
