FAULT COMPLAINED OF

Irregular or failed operation of electrical components

TECHNICAL CAUSE

Loose, damaged and oxidised connections.

OPERATIONS IN NETWORK

Network behaviour standards towards the Customer

• Once the customer's claimed fault is confirmed, reassure the Customer that it will be solved by replacing the connections causing the fault.
• After the operation, show the Customer what has been done and make sure he is satisfied.

Service Solution

Once the customer's claimed fault is confirmed, replace the connections causing the fault, according to the Operating Cycle below.

OPERATION CYCLE

If the cause for the irregular operation is due to the electrical connections, depending on the version restore the correct conditions of the connections with reference to the Service Manual and using the service kit, taken from the Spare Parts Dpt., arranged for the following connectors.

The following table shows for each connector:

• the description
• the reference number in the Electrical System section of the Service Manual
• the operation number in the Procedure section of the Service Manual and of the Flat Time Rate Manual and Fault Code.
• the spare part number of the Repair Kit

AVALABILITY OF PARTS

Each package contains:

• a connector block (housing);
• the terminals and a section of already crimped wire:
• the tin heat shrinking tubes.
