The side sliding door (PLS) cannot be opened when the temperatures are below 0°C
TECHNICAL CAUSE
Case 1: the central opening/closing system works properly, but the side sliding door cannot be opened both from the inside or from the outside.
Case 2: the central opening/closing system works properly, the side sliding door can be opened from the inside but it is impossible to open it from the outside. The external handle is locked.
Case 3: the central opening/closing system works properly, the side sliding door can be opened from the inside but it is impossible to open it from the outside. The external handle can be pulled without realising that it is locked, but also after moving the handle the door cannot be opened.
OPERATION
If feasible, leave the vehicle in environmental conditions similar to those occurred when the fault was detected; contact Te.Se.O. opening an e-Teseo Ticket, showing the environmental conditions when the fault occurs and the relevant type of this case. Wait for instructions about the operation to be performed.
