Connect the diagnosis equipment to check whether there are error codes consistent with a fault related to lack of actuator operation |
End of diagnosis |
Faults related to actuator malfunction have been identified |
Go to Step 2 |
|
|
Check whether the electrical wiring connections are loose. Detach/reattach the connection on the actuator side and on the control support side. Check whether the error is still present. |
End of diagnosis |
The fault occurs again |
Go to Step 3 |
|
|
Check the operation activating the function that the actuator should carry out manually. With the engine running, switch on the passenger compartment heater fan at maximum speed. Place the flaps in the various recirculation positions via the control/control unit (manually). Check the air flow in the passenger compartment by placing your hand on the vents. |
End of diagnosis |
The recirculation actuator is not working correctly |
Go to Step 4 |
|
|
Check whether there is a mechanical blockage/breakage of the flaps in the recirculation actuator |
Go to Step 5 |
Presence of mechanical blockages on the recirculation actuator |
Remove the mechanical blockages/Replace the actuator |
|
|
Check that the climate control system control unit is working correctly |
End of diagnosis |
The climate control system control unit is not working correctly |
Replace the climate control unit Op. 5040D14 CONTROL UNIT WITH AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL PANEL - R.R. |
