Removing ( Refitting

)

1. Undo bolt (1a) securing ABS sensor (1b).

2. Remove the staking from the nut fixing the wheel hub and undo the nut.

1. Undo fixing nut (1a) and use the special tool to remove ball joint (1b) for steering rod (1c).

1. Undo bolts (1a) securing track control arm ball joint (1b) to wheel hub (1c) and release the latter from its housing.

1. Undo bolt (1a) securing steering knuckle (1b) to shock absorber (1c).

1. Remove the front steering knuckle from the vehicle.

Refitting ( Removing

)

- Check that the front steering knuckle is not damaged.

- Tighten to the recommended torque the bolt fixing the steering knuckle to the shock absorber.

- Screw in the bolts fixing the track control arm ball joint to the wheel hub, tightening them to the recommended torque.

- Place the steering rod ball joint in position and screw in the fixing nut, tightening it to the recommended torque.

- Tighten the ABS sensor fixing bolt.

- Tighten the nut fixing the wheel hub to the driveshaft to the recommended torque.

1. Stake the nut fixing the wheel hub to the driveshaft.
