The vehicle has two bright rear fog lamps located in the rear light clusters. For road safety reasons, on Heavy Van versions (designed for transporting heavy loads), there is an additional bridge connecting the left rear light cluster and the rear fog lamp located in the lower part of the rear light pillar so that the vehicle is more visible to other road users. Rear fog light activation is controlled by the Body Computer. The function requires the following conditions to be activated:
If the dipped headlights and fog lights are deactivated, the rear fog lights are turned off even if the operating key is active. If the above enablement signals are re-activated, the function stays off until a new command is received from the dedicated key. The correct operation of the lights is controlled by the Body Computer, which is able to detect the following faults:
When one of the situations described above occurs, the Body Computer makes the failure status available to the CAN: a special "exterior light failure" warning light switches on in the instrument panel and, at the same time, the information is shown in the display. |
