Refitting

- Position the pressure pump support in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump.

2. Undo the nuts fixing the pressure pump to the support.

1. Stop the rotation of the pressure pump drive pulley using the tool.

2. Undo the pressure pump drive pulley nut.

1. Remove the pressure pump drive pulley (1b) using tools (1b) and (1c).

2. Remove the pressure pump from the mounting.

Mark the position of the pressure pump control shaft centering pin in relation to the pump casing.

- Remove the pressure pump support from the vice.

Removing

1. Position the pressure pump support in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

2. Fit the pressure pump drive pulley (2a) on the support using the tools (2b).

1. Fit the pressure pump on the mounting studs and tighten the tool for centering the pressure pump control shaft with the pulley.

- Tighten the nuts securing the pressure pump to the support to the recommended torque.

- Undo the tool for centering the pressure pump control shaft fitted previously.

- Tighten the nut securing the pressure pump drive pulley to the recommended torque.

- Remove the bolts fixing the drive pulley to the pressure pump support.

- Connect the fuel return pipe to the pressure pump and tighten the band.

- Remove the pressure pump support from the vice.
