Connect the diagnosis equipment to check whether there are error codes related to actuator malfunction. |
End of diagnosis |
Faults related to actuator malfunction have been identified |
Go to Step 2 |
Check whether the electrical wiring connections are loose. Detach/reattach the connection on the actuator side and on the control support side. Check whether the error is still present. |
End of diagnosis |
The fault occurs again |
Go to Step 3 |
Check the operation activating the function that the actuator should carry out manually. With the engine running, switch on the passenger compartment heater fan at the maximum speed and place the flaps in the various distribution positions using the control/control unit (in manual mode). Check the air flow in the passenger compartment by placing your hand on the vents. |
End of diagnosis |
The recirculation actuator is not working correctly |
Go to Step 4 |
Check whether there is a mechanical blockage/breakage of the flaps in the mixing actuator |
Go to Step 5 |
