Disconnect the air conditioning casing

Op. 5040C12 AIR CONDITIONING CASING - R.R. WITH DASHBOARD REMOVED

to check the unit side and control mounting drive.

Release the unit side Bowden cable from the timing gear and check the unit side drive by moving the gears by hand.

 

Go to Step 2

 

Gear drive locked

 

Proceed to remove and refit the various levers, complying with the error guards

Check whether there are ovalised wheels or levers or other forming problems in the climate control unit gears

 

Go to Step 3

 

Identify any faults on the levers or on the wheels

 

Replace the faulty components of the climate control system
