- Check that the tyre tread is not worn excessively.

Some types of tyre are fitted with wear gauges; they should be replaced as soon as these gauges are visible on the tread.

Do not swap tyres across.

- Check the tyre inflation pressure is correct, spare wheel included.

The tyre inflating pressures must be checked when they are cold.

- Check that the lighting system is working properly: headlamps, direction indicators, hazard warning lights, load compartment light, passenger compartment light and instrument panel warning lights.

- Check the windscreen washer/wiper system is operating correctly and adjust the sprays if necessary.

- Check that the front and rear wiper blades are correctly positioned and not worn.

- Check cleanliness of locks, bonnet and boot lids, cleanliness and lubrication of linkage.

- Visually inspect the condition of: exterior bodywork and underbody protection, pipes (exhaust, fuel system, brakes), rubber elements (boots, hoses, bushes, etc.) and fuel system and braking system flexible pipes.

- Check and clean the lower guides for versions with side sliding doors (or every 6 months).

- Check condition and wear of the front disc brake pads and operation of front pad wear indicator.

- Check the condition and wear of the rear brake pads and the operation of the rear disc brake pad wear indicator (where fitted).

L’effettivo intervallo di sostituzione dell’olio e del filtro olio motore dipende dalle condizioni di utilizzo del veicolo e viene segnalato tramite spia o messaggio (ove previsto) sul quadro strumenti e comunque deve essere effettuato ogni 24 mesi.

Nel caso di utilizzo del veicolo prevalentemente su percorsi urbani, si rende necessaria la sostituione dell’olio e del filtro olio motore ogni 12 mesi.

At the end of the service, connect the Examiner diagnosis equipment to the on-board diagnosis socket to reset the day mileage counter to the starting value and write the details of the service carried out (date, service no., total mileage) to the Trip Computer memory which can only be read using the diagnosis equipment.

Check that the measurement unit set in the instrument panel is the one used in that country - km or miles.
