Removing ( Refitting )

- Using the adjustment buttons in the dashboard, deactivate the system pressing them simultaneously for at least 5 secs. and the LEDs in the buttons will both come on constantly.

- Position the vehicle on the lift.


1. Slightly undo the connector (1a) for the compressed air pipe on the reservoir (1b) until the pressure in the circuit is completely discharged then undo the connector completely.

2. Unscrew the nuts (2a) and remove the reservoir complete with mounting brackets (2b).


1. Remove the tapered inner seal (1b) from the air pipe (1a), then release the rapid connector (1c).

The connector is ruined during the removal so it cannot be kept but must be replaced with a new one.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the reservoir is not damaged, otherwise it must be replaced.


1. Tighten a new rapid connector (1a) with a tapered inner seal (1b) on the reservoir.


1. Place the reservoir (1a) in position complete with mounting bracket (1b) then secure it tightening the nuts (1c) to the recommended torque.

2. There are two reference lines (2b) and (2c) at the ends of the air pipe (2a); insert the air pipe about 20 mm into the rapid connector for the reservoir or at least sufficiently to leave only one line (2c) showing.

Once the pipe is fitted it cannot be removed without replacing the actual connector.

- Start the engine.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

- Reactivate the self-levelling suspension control system by simultaneously pressing the two adjustment buttons in the dashboard (for at least 5 secs.) and the LEDs in the buttons should both go out. The system is reactivated and automatically checks the height of the vehicle and the pressure in the tank.

- Leave the engine running for at least 45 minutes without activating the height adjustment buttons; during this peroid the compressor will produce the right pressure in the circuit for correct operation. Alternatively, use the Examiner active diagnosis control

- Check that the system is working properly by carrying out a height alteration cycle.
