Refitting

- Turn the ignition key to the STOP position.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal

Op. 7040A19

1. Disconnect the electrical connection.

2. Undo nuts (2a) and detach bracket (2b) complete with wiring.

1. Remove the fastener (1a) and partly release the sound insulation panel (1b).

2. Undo the fixing nuts (2a) and remove the inertia switch (2b).

Removing

- Place the inertia switch in its housing and tighten the fixing nuts.

- Place the sound insulation panel in position and tighten the fastener.

- Position the bracket complete with wiring in its housing and tighten the nuts.

- Connect the electrical connection.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.
