- Position the vehicle on the lift. - Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Op. 5530B54 - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

1. Remove the retaining band (1a) and separate the fuel filler pipes (1b) from the tank (1c). |

Refitting

- Fit the fuel filler pipes on the new tank and secure them using the retaining band. Op. 1040A71 SUBMERGED PUMP ASSEMBLY COMPLETE WITH FUEL GAUGE - R.R. WITH TANK REMOVED |

|
|
- Connect the negative battery terminal.
Op. 5530B54 - Remove the vehicle from the lift. |
