If a request for a key and/or a lock barrel is necessary, in the event of loss of the key/keys or if an additional key is required, the dealers can order them following the following specific CSPS procedures:
GENERAL NOTES Remember that, to protect the Customer’s safety and that of the group’s cars, dealers must establish the customer’s identity and ownership of the car, requesting the following: 1. an identification document proving ownership of the car (registration document or ownership certificate) 2. a valid identity document belonging to the Customer 3. the CODE card (if provided for the model in point 1) A copy of such documents must be filed progressively (with yearly numbering) and be kept available to FGA for 5 years from the date of the order. Only if the Customer’s identity as the owner of the car is established, the dealer can order the replacement or additional key (mechanical, electronic or with remote control). PROCEDURE 1 - ORDERING UNCUT KEYS When a customer requests that a key is ordered for a car, correctly identify the part to be ordered using the Spare Parts catalogue (Fiat ePER), as illustrated in Fig. 1. Proceed to create a normal order, entering the corresponding part, for example K68145591AA, as illustrated in Fig. 2 Fig. 2
PROCEDURE 2 - ORDERING CUT KEYS AND/OR LOCK BARREL Through CSPS select, in sequence: Rebadge Model Code Request Transaction - Other Inquiries - Retrieve KEY/PIN for Chrysler - the mechanical code is retrieved (cutting code – Key Code) by entering the VIN of the vehicle concerned, as illustrated in Fig. 3. Then enter a Code 1 order in CSPS, indicating:
