Refitting

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

Op. 5530B54

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 7055B51

1. Detach the electrical connection for the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

2. Release the connector (2a) from the mounting bracket, open the retaining clip (2b) and release the harness (2c) for the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

1. Undo the connector (1a) and remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor (1b).

Removing

1. Tighten the connector (1a) for the exhaust gas temperature sensor (1b) to the prescribed torque.

- Place the exhaust gas temperature sensor harness in place, tighten the retaining clip and engage the connector to the mounting bracket.

- Connect the electrical connection for the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 5530B54

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
