The reversing light switch I020 is supplied by the line INT protected by fuse F51 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 7 of connector C).

When the reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends a signal to the engine management control unit M010 (pin 44 of connector B for the 2.0 JTD version; pin 46 of connector B for the 2.3 JTD version; pin 19 of connector B for the 3.0 JTD version) which sends this information via the C-CAN to the Body Computer M001.

The Body Computer M001 controls the reversing light of the rear right light cluster F031 (pin 5) directly from pin 4 of connector F.

Via the CAN line, the Body Computer M001 (pins 11 and 26 of connector B) is connected to the instrument panel E050 (pins 5 and 6) to manage the "exterior lights failure" warning light and the message in the display if there is a failure detected in the circuit, the bulb or the fuse.
