The dipped beam headlights activation signal is sent to pin 42 of connector H of the Body Computer M001 from the steering column stalk H005.

Headlight alignment adjustment is controlled by two specific buttons on the left-hand control panel H091.

Pin 4 of the H091 control panel, which allows for headlamp alignment adjustment, is connected to pin 14 of the instrument panel E050. The central dashboard earth C022 (connector A) receives the earth reference (pin 2 of H091) through the Body Computer M001 (pin 36 of connector H).

Body Computer M001 manages the power supply to headlight adjustment motors F010 (left) and F011 (right) as well as the activation of the dipped beam headlights. Each circuit is controlled by a dedicated relay switch built into the Body Computer and is protected by fuse F13 of the Body Computer; respectively:

  • from pin 29 of connector D, for left-hand headlight motor (pin 6);

  • from pin 14 of connector D, for right-hand headlight motor (pin 6).

The same dipped beams activated enablement signal reaches pin 8 of instrument panel E050 from pin 46 of connector H of Body Computer M001.

From pin 7 the instrument panel E050 sends the command that operates the adjustment motors built into the headlamps (pin 7 of both headlamps).

The headlight alignment correction system can only be activated with the ignition key in the MAR-ON position.
