OPERATIONS IN PRODUCTION

Starting from 30/12/2010 the above vehicles have been equipped with new headlamps having a new 8-way electrical connector (1 - Fig. 1) replacing the old, 14-way connector for coupling the new front wiring.

OPERATIONS IN NETWORK

The headlamps with 14-way connectors will be handled by the Spare Parts Dpt. until stocks finish, then only new headlamps with 8-way connectors can be supplied. If an old headlamp is to be replaced by a new headlamp with an 8-way connector, a special adaptor harness (Fig. 2) must be used, according to the Operating Cycle below.

OPERATION CYCLE

Fit the harness (A - Fig. 3) by coupling the 14-way connector (1 - green) to the front wiring connector and the 8-way connector (2 - black) to the headlamp connector.

AVALABILITY OF PARTS

For the part number of the new headlamps and adaptor harness, refer to the Spare Parts Catalogue. The new parts are identified by the modification code C/D 14302.
