The switching on of the roof lights is managed by the Body Computer M001 which receives negative "door open" input signals respectively:

  • at pin 50 of connector F (driver's front door, via the internal contact at the geared motor N050 - pin 4 -);

  • at pin 51 of connector F (passenger side front door, via the internal contact at the geared motor N051 - pin 4 -);

  • at pin 35 of connector F (right rear swing door, via the internal contact at the geared motor N054 - pin 4 -);

  • and at pin 33 connector F (right sliding door, via terminal board D185 - pin 3 of connector A).

The front roof light G010, the passenger area front roof lights G011, the rear passenger area roof lights G012, the access board light G069 (pin 1) and the boot roof light G040 receive a direct power supply, at pin 2, from the Body Computer M001, through the "SBMT" line protected by fuse F32 of the Body computer M001 (pins 22, 57 and 24 of connector E respectively).

The front roof light G010 is connected, via pin 1, to the cab earth C100 and, via pin 3, to pin 8 of connector F of the Body Computer M001, which provides a suitable negative signal for the timed/dimmed switching on.

The front passenger roof lights G011 A (left) and B (right) and the rear passenger roof lights G012 A (left) and B (right) are connected, via pin 1, to the right rear earth C031 and, via pin 3, to pins 13 (rear lights) and 10 (front lights) of connector F of the Body Computer M001, which provides a suitable negative signal for turning them on in a timed/dimmed manner.

The access board light G069 receives a negative signal, at pin 2, for its timed/dimmed turning on from the Body Computer M001 (pin 57 of connector F).

Lastly, the tailgate roof light G040 is connected, via pin 1, to the left rear earth C031 and, via pin 3, to pin 58 of connector F of the Body Computer M001, which provides a suitable negative signal for the timed switching on.

The Body Computer M001 receives a direct battery power supply at pin A of connector A; it also receives an ignition-operated supply (INT) at pin 2 of connector G.

It is connected to the earth of the central dashboard C022 (connector A) via pins 1 and 11 of connector G.
