The electric windows for the front doors are operated through the switches on the driver's door armrest (both windows) and the passenger side (passenger side only).

On some versions there is an automatic "continuous automatic operation" function for closing and opening the driver's front window and opening the passenger side front window only.

The continuous automatic operation takes place as follows:

  • if the button is pressed for less than half a second (short press), operation is manual: the glass only goes up/down when the button is pressed;

  • if the button is pressed for longer (long press), operation is automatic: even if the button is released, the glass continues to go up/down until the end of travel.

  • pressing the button again whilst the window is moving stops it in the position it is in.

With the ignition key in the STOP position or extracted, the electric windows remain activated for about 3 minutes and are deactivated immediately when one of the doors is opened.

The electric window circuit is controlled by dedicated relay switches and protected by special fuses built into the Body Computer.
