Removing ( Refitting )

- Remove the right pneumatic spring.

Op. 4430C60 PNEUMATIC SPRING (ONE) LEFT OR RIGHT FOR SELF-LEVELLING SUSPENSION SYSTEM - R.R.

- Remove the control unit / compressor module guard.

   Op. 4430B13 SELF-LEVELLING SUSPENSION SYSTEM COMPRESSOR/CONTROL UNIT MODULE GUARD - R.R.

1. Undo the connector (1a) for the red air supply pipe (1b) for the right pneumatic spring from the control unit/compressor module.

1. Release the pipe (1a) from the clips fastening it to the chassis, then remove it.

1. Remove the inner tapered seal (1b) from the air pipe (1a), then release the rapid connector (1c) (at both ends of the pipe).

The connector is ruined during the removal so it cannot be kept but must be replaced with a new one.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the pipe is not damaged, otherwise it must be replaced.

1. Tighten a new rapid connector (1a) with a tapered inner seal (1b) on the control unit/compressor module.

During this operation take great care to fit the connector properly on the thread to prevent possible damage to the control unit/compressor module.

1. There are two reference lines (1b) and (1c) at the ends of the air pipe (1a); insert the air pipe about 20 mm into the rapid connector (1d) for the control unit/compressor module or at least sufficiently to leave only one line (1c) showing.

Once the pipe is fitted it cannot be removed without replacing the actual connector.

1. Secure the pipe (1a) to the clips fastening it to the chassis.

- Position the control unit / compressor module guard.
