The ignition-operated power supply (15/54) arrives through a line protected by fuse F16 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 9 of connector C) at pin 54 of connector B of the engine management control unit M010. The coil for relay switch T09 receives a direct battery supply along the line protected by fuse F18 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001. Relay switch T09 is energised by a control signal (earth) from pin 28 of connector B of the engine management control unit M010 and supplies pins 3 - 5 of connector B of M010 along the line protected by fuse F22 of B001 (pin 18 of connector C) and pin 1 of connector B of M010 along the line protected by fuse F11 of B001 (pin 7 of connector C). The engine management control unit M010 receives signals from the different sensors thereby keeping all the engine operating parameters in check, in particular there are two specific sensors for the management of the operation of the particulate filter:
The control unit M010 (pins 24 and 25 of connector B) is then connected, via the C-CAN, to the Body Computer M001 (pins 38 and 37 of connector D); the Body Computer M001, via a dedicated gateway, sends this information, via the B-CAN, to the instrument panel E050, thereby controlling the switching on of the "pollution filter blocked" and minimum engine oil pressure" warning lights flashing and "EOBD failure" warning light and the related displays. |
