The power assisted steering hydraulic system bleeds automatically during operation whilst the engine is running. The flow of fluid in the hydraulic system causes the level in the reservoir to go down. After the following procedure has been carried out a small amount of air may remain in the system. This does not have any negative repercussions as the system continues to be bled whilst driving.

- Start the engine 3 times and stop each time after 5 seconds. Pause briefly between each start.

- Start up the engine, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock 5 times, then switch off the engine.

- If necessary, top up the hydraulic system with the recommended fluid.
