Refitting

- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

1. Open retaining clip (1a) and release bonnet release cable (1b).

2. Open retaining clip (2a) and release wiring (2b).

3. Undo nuts (3a) and remove cover (3b).

1. Working on the safety mountings, lift up the levers and disconnect the electrical connections (1a) and (1b) from the engine management control unit.

- Then release the wiring from the retainers and move it away to free the working area.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a), undo the fixing bolt (1b) and remove the engine oil sensor signal control unit (1c) from the vehicle.

1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and remove the injection system control unit (1b).

1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the control unit support (1b).

1. Remove the control unit support from the bracket.

Removing

- Place the diesel electronic injection system control unit support on the bracket and tighten the fixing nut.

- Fit the injection control unit in its housing and tighten the retaining nuts.

- Fit the engine oil sensor signal control unit, tighten the bolts and connect the electrical connection.

- Position the wiring, connect the electrical connections to the injection control unit and secure them using the safety levers.

- Fit the injection control unit cover in its seat and tighten the retaining nuts.

- Position the wiring and secure it using the retaining clip.

- Position the bonnet release cable and secure it using the associated retaining clip.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.
