Refitting

- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and remove it.

Op. 5530B54 BATTERY COVER - R+R

- Disconnect the negative and positive battery terminals and insulate them.

- Wait for 10 minutes before proceeding.

   Op. 7065A25 TIRANTE DI ANCORAGGIO CON DISPOSITIVO DI PRETENSIONAMENTO DELLA CINTURA DI SICUREZZA SEDILE ANTERIORE BIPOSTO - S.R.

1. Release the end of the seat belt from its housing on the seat.

1. Release the rear upholstery retainers from the seat frame.

1. Separate the backrest upholstery retainers (1a) from the seat upholstery retainers (1b).

1. Release the retaining Velcro for the front part of the backrest upholstery (1a) and the upper part of the seat upholstery (1b), centre seat side.

1. Release the retaining Velcro for the upper part of the seat upholstery, centre seat side.

1. Release the lower retainers for the seat upholstery from the seat frame.

1. Release and remove the seat padding (1a) complete with upholstery (1b).

- Release the contour of the upholstery from the padding.

1. Cut the cover retaining rings using clippers.

2. Separate the upholstery (2a) from the padding (2b).

Removing

- Check that the upholstery and the padding are not damaged.

- Place the upholstery onto the padding.

- With the appropriate tool, engage the upholstery retaining rings.

- Fit the cover onto the upholstery.

- Position the seat padding complete with upholstery on the seat frame.

- Secure the lower retainers for the seat upholstery to the seat frame.

- Secure the retaining Velcro for the upper part of the seat upholstery, centre seat side.

- Secure the retaining Velcro for the upper part of the seat upholstery and the front part of the backrest upholstery, centre seat side.

- Join the backrest upholstery retainers to the seat upholstery retainers, then secure them to the seat frame.

- Insert the end of the seat belt in its housing on the seat.

- Connect the battery terminals.
