- Check that the tyre tread is not worn excessively.
- Check the tyre inflation pressure is correct, spare wheel included.
- Check that the lighting system is working properly: headlamps, direction indicators, hazard warning lights, load compartment light, passenger compartment light and instrument panel warning lights. - Check the windscreen washer/wiper system is operating correctly and adjust the sprays if necessary. - Check that the front and rear wiper blades are correctly positioned and not worn. - Check cleanliness of locks, bonnet and boot lids, cleanliness and lubrication of linkage. - Visually inspect the condition of: exterior bodywork and underbody protection, pipes (exhaust, fuel system, brakes), rubber elements (boots, hoses, bushes, etc.) and fuel system and braking system flexible pipes. - Check and clean the lower guides for versions with side sliding doors (or every 6 months). - Check condition and wear of the front disc brake pads and operation of front pad wear indicator. - Check the condition and wear of the rear brake pads and the operation of the rear disc brake pad wear indicator (where fitted). - Check and, if necessary, adjust the handbrake lever travel; refer to |
