The Body Computer M001 receives a direct battery supply at pin A of connector A. This supply is protected upstream by fuse F71 (CPL1) of the maxifuse control unit on the battery B099 (connector D).

The Body Computer M001 also receives an ignition-operated supply (INT) at pin 2 of connector G.

It is connected to the earth of the central dashboard C022 (connector A) via pins 1 and 11 of connector G.

When the key is turned in the ignition H001 to the extreme position (AVV) the starter A020 solenoid winding (connector B) receives a power supply from pin 3 of connector A.

This direct battery power supply reaches the ignition switch H001 (pin 2 of connector A) via a line protected by fuses F70 of the fuse control unit on battery B099 and F03 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.

Connector A for the starter motor A020 receives a power supply directly from the battery via the line protected by the dedicated "powerval" fuse (CAL4) of the fuse box on the battery B099 and the shunt fuse for terminal board A005.

The direct current generated by the alternator A010 is sent from connector A (B+) to connector A of the starter A020, which is internally connected to the line connected to the battery A001.

The alternator A010, through connector B, provides pin 36 of connector A of the engine management control unit M010, with the insufficient recharging signal (D+), thereby allowing the fault diagnosis of the alternator operation (if the recharging level is too low).

This signal arrives via the C-CAN from control unit M010 (pins 24 and 25 of connector B) to Body Computer M001 (pins 38 and 37 of connector D) and is made available to the network.

Once a fault has been found, the Body Computer M001, through the B-CAN, will light up the "insufficient battery recharging/alternator fault" warning light on instrument panel E050.
