Plates are located: one on the passenger side interior wheel arch and the other on the lower part of the windscreen respectively.

The data displayed indicates:

  • type of vehicle;

  • chassis number.

After a repair operation, it may be necessary to replace the panel components that have the vehicle identification number on them or the number may be damaged.

If this is necessary then follow the national legislation of the country where the vehicle is registered to re-mark the vehicle.

A similar procedure should be carried out if the plate containing the vehicle identification number is damaged or removed.
