The results of the thorough reliability test performed by Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. on the car pyrotechnical devices - airbags (front and side bags if required) and the seat belt pretensioners, allow us to state that the above devices keep the same features over time and in standard operating conditions. The same applies for coil electric contact. Therefore these components must be considered without any expiration date, and their periodic replacement is not required in spite of the label applied to the vehicle, that - if present - specifies other and different instructions. The prescription for airbag modules, pretensioners and coil electric contacts is still valid in case of operating faults or as a result of an event which caused its activation and, in all cases where changes to the standard use of the vehicle have occurred. The same applies for seat belts if they undergo strong stresses but the pretensioners were not activated.
