Test results

Start the vehicle with the passenger compartment fan.

At 1st speed, in recirculation position and with engine at 2000 rpm, activate the climate control system function and leave the vehicle in these conditions for at least 3 minutes.

Open the bonnet and check that the thermostat engages and disengages the compressor.

The thermostat operation check must be carried out with the vehicle at ambient temperature

Go to Step 2

The thermostat does not engage the compressor

Replace the thermostat

Check that the compressor is working correctly

Go to Step 3

Compressor not working correctly

Replace the compressor

Check that the pressure switch is working correctly

Pressure switch not working correctly

Replace the pressure switch
