The reversing light switch I020 is supplied by the line INT protected by fuse F51 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 7 of connector C).

When the reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends a signal to the engine management control unit M010 (pin 44 of connector B for the 2.0 JTD version; pin 46 of connector B for the 2.3 JTD version; pin 19 of connector B for the 3.0 JTD version) which sends this information via the C-CAN to the Body Computer M001.

The Body Computer M001 controls the reversing lights of the rear left F030 (pin G) and right F031 (pin F) light clusters, from pins 1 and 4 of connector F respectively.

The Body Computer M001 sends the information via the CAN to the parking sensor control unit M084; this reversing signal is also used directly by the pedestrian exterior reversing warning horn P144.

Via the CAN line, the Body Computer M001 (pins 11 and 26 of connector B) is connected to the instrument panel E050 (pins 5 and 6) to manage the "exterior lights failure" warning light and the message in the display if there is a failure detected in the circuit, the bulbs or the fuse.
