The parking sensor control unit M084 receives a power supply, at pin 1 of connector A, from the ignition-operated line (INT) protected by fuse F49 located in the Body Computer M001 (pin 6 of connector E). Connector A is connected, via pin 7, to the right rear earth C031. The four parking sensors K097 (pin 3) send their signals to connector B of control unit M084: pins 5, 2, 1 and 3 are connected to the sensors K097A (left outside), K097B (left inside), K097C (right inside) and K097D (right outside) respectively. The sensors receive a power supply at pin 1 from pin 4 of the parking sensors control unit M084, whilst they receive a reference earth at pin 2 from pin 8 of the same control unit. At pin 6 of connector B the parking sensor control unit M084 receives any input relating to the presence of a trailer, an input which disables the function. When reverse gear is engaged, the reversing light switch I020 closes and the pedestrian horn P144 receives a direct power supply. Having received information that reverse gear is engaged from the Body Computer M001 (pin 4 of connector F), the parking sensor control unit M084 activates the parking sensors and communicates the information relating to the activation of the horn incorporated in the instrument panel E050 via the CAN from pins 6 and 12 of connector A. Any faults are signalled, through the B-CAN, through the "general failure" warning light (COMFORT version) in the instrument panel E050. The multifunction screen node M172 receives a power supply, interrupted during starting (INT/A), at pin 3 of connector A, whilst pin 4 of the same connector is connected to the centre dashboard earth C022 (connector A). The supply line is protected by fuse F31 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 27 of connector E). Pin 1 of connector A of the multifunction screen node M172 receives the "VSO" speedometer signal necessary for interrupting the function when a preset speed (18 km/h) is exceeded; this signal arrives from pin 49 of connector F of the Body Computer M001. Pin 2 of connector A of the multifunction screen node M172 also receives the reverse gear engaged signal. Connector B of M172 is prepared for connection to the rear TV camera K151. Specifically:
