OPERATIONS IN NETWORK

We inform you that starting from 25 September 2012, a new compartment, part no. 735566261, is fitted in the dashboard.

The pre-modification compartment, part number 735532945, (1 - Fig. 1) will be handled at the Spare Parts Dpt. until stocks finish.

On pre-modification vehicles, the new compartment, part number 735566261, can be retrofitted anyway, with reference to Op. 7040A18 of the Service Manual.

OPERATION CYCLE

Before installing the new compartment in the dashboard, proceed as follows.

• Keep a fastening clip from one of the three fixing points under the dashboard, because the other clips are not required for the new compartment. Apply the clip next to the hole (A) in the point shown in Fig. 2.

Take the new compartment and, acting on the holding tabs (1 - Fig. 3) tilt by 180° the glove box, so that you can reach the fixing point (A) close to the clip (A - Fig. 2).

• Place the new compartment (B - Fig. 4) in the dashboard;
• Tighten the three upper screws (1 - Fig. 4), the screw (2) on the previously fitted clip (reference A - Fig. 2) and the screw (3).
• Close the compartment.
