Connector A of the steering column stalk H005 makes it possible to select the headlight washer function; it is connected to connector H of the Body computer M001 which manages the activation of the electric headlight washer pump motor N025.

Specifically:

• the Body Computer M001 provides a reference earth, from pin 45 of connector H, for the steering column stalk (pin 4 connector A);

• pin 2 of connector A of the steering column stalk H005 is connected to pin 54 of connector H of the Body Computer M001 which receives the (negative) analogue signal relating to the operation of the headlight washer.

After receiving an input from the steering column stalk H005, from pin 22 of connector D the Body computer M001 sends a negative signal to relay switch T21 from the additional fuse box B046 (pin 13).

The contact for relay switch T21 is open with the ignition switch in the AVV position (INT/A, supply interrupted during starting). This supply is protected by fuse F31 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 20 of connector C).

The electric headlight washer pump motor N025 receives a direct battery supply via relay T21, along the line protected by fuse F04 located in control unit B001 (pin B connector D).

This direct battery power supply is protected upstream by fuse F70 (CVM) of the maxifuse box on the battery B099 (connector A).

The Body Computer M001 receives the dipped headlights activation signal at pin 42 of connector H.
