- Set the height of the vehicle at level 3 using the adjustment buttons in the dashboard.
- Deactivate the self-levelling suspension control system by pressing the two adjustment buttons in the dashboard simultaneously (for at least 5 secs.) and the LEDs in the buttons will both come on constantly.
- Position the vehicle on the lift.
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Undo the bolt (1a) fixing the pneumatic spring (1b) to the leaf spring (1c).
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the ball joint (1b) for the rod (1c) for the position sensor and move the rod aside.
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Undo the nuts (1a) securing the U brackets fastening the leaf spring (1b) to the axle (1c).
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Undo the front bolt (1a) fixing the leaf spring (1b) to the bodyshell, then remove the leaf spring.
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
- Check that the leaf spring is not damaged, otherwise it must be replaced.
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Place the leaf spring (1a) in position then screw in the front bolt (1b) without tightening it.
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Position the U brackets for fastening the leaf spring (1a) to the axle (1b) and tighten the nuts (1c) to the recommended torque.

1. Rotate the arm (1a) for the sensor (1b) so that it is facing the rear of the vehicle.
2. Place the ball joint (2a) for the rod (2b) for the position sensor in position then tighten the fixing nut (2c).
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Tighten the bolt (1a) fixing the pneumatic spring (1b) to the leaf spring (1c) to the recommended torque.

1. Place a hydraulic lift (1a) at the rear axle (1b) centre line.
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
1. Raise the rear axle (1a) until the distance measured between the lower surface (1b) of the actual axle and the lower surface (1c) of the support for the unit (1d) (measured at the point illustrated) is equal to 210 mm.
APPLICABLE TO VERSIONS WITH: Self-levelling suspension
- Tighten the bolt fixing the leaf spring to the body to the recommended torque.

- Remove the hydraulic lift.
- Lower the lift.
- Reactivate the self-levelling suspension control system by pressing the two adjustment buttons in the dashboard simultaneously (for at least 5 secs.) and the LEDs in the buttons will both go off.
- Check that the system is working properly by carrying out a height variation cycle.
