Refitting

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

- Turn the ignition key to the STOP position.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

   Op. 1040E20 FUEL FILLER PIPE PROTECTION - ARRANGE

1. Disconnect the return pipe quick connector from the high pressure pump return pipe.

2. Open the retaining clip (2a) and release the fuel return pipe (2b).

1. Free the windscreen base trim drainage pipe from the fasteners and move it to one side.

2. Open the retaining clips.

3. Release the fuel return pipe.

1. Release the fuel return pipe (1a) from the fasteners (1b) on the body and remove it.

Removing

- Place the fuel return pipe in position and secure it to the body using the special fasteners.

- Engage the windscreen base trim drainage pipe to the fasteners.

- Connect the return pipe rapid connector to the high pressure pump return pipe.
